In this series I created my own original vector art of the iconic Dr. Martens 1460 boot, named for the first day it was manufactured, April 1, 1960.

In the 3/4 view I made decisions about lighting and texture. In the profile view I simplified forms to create an icon that can be reproduced in all sizes.
